AXIA

Axia Mastiha

For millennia, mastic resin has been extracted from the Mastiha tree and coveted and traded for its sweet floral scent, distinctive flavour and revered anti-oxidant healing qualities. During the

Ottoman's 300 year rule of Chios, it was worth its own weight in gold and incited jealousy and warfare. What's more, the powerful elixir has been used as a snakebite antivenom for centuries.

Axia Mastiha is a premium, extra dry and unsweetened white spirit with only 0.5% sugar and a considerably low caloric count.

The taste of Axia spirals around your tongue with light and dark, dry and sweet, new and old. Experience the unique masitha aroma blended with notes of rose, cypress, citrus and bergamot.

The Axia Paloma

As if the Paloma couldn't get any better, the Axia Paloma uses Axia extra dry mastiha spirit and premium pink grapefruit for a mediterranean twist on the classic serve.

The result is a beautifully balanced cocktail that's even more light and refreshing than the original.

The Axia Paloma is served in a highball glass with cubed ice, lined with sea salt on the rim, and garnished with a slice of pink grapefruit. A serve so simple, anyone can make it.

The Recipe

  1. Wet the rim of the highball glass with a lime wedge and line in rock salt.

  2. Fill the glass with cubed ice.

  3. Add 40ml of Axia and top with pink grapefruit soda.

  4. Garnish with a slie of pink grapefruit.

Yamas!
